Our Mission
Helping healthcare teams keep their finger on the pulse and stay survey-ready
Our objective is to create a single tool for monitoring developments in the accreditation space for quality teams at healthcare institutions. The information available to these strained teams is historically expensive, behind paywalls and fragmented. The goal is to remedy this and provide an accessible tool that allows for maximum responsiveness and readiness to keep patient outcomes above all as hospitals keep an eye on survey readiness.
No, this tool does not capture every mention of the accrediting organization. AOWatcher is curated and focused in scope.
Our criteria skews institutional and aims for high fidelity signal prioritization. We factor announcements by the organizations themselves, government agencies but also blend in voices ‘on the ground’ as a useful vantage point to weigh announcements against.
AOWatcher is a volunteer passion project led by an industry professional operating in healthcare quality assurance.
As a volunteer project we aim to keep our solution accessible. Our team has invested in software solutions, database management, hosting, and computing to get this vision off the ground. As costs to operate the site rise, our approach will evolve, we’ll build capabilities, but keeping the platform accessible is key part of our mission.
